How can I book a chalet ?
On this page you will find an overview of all the chalets we currently have under our management. By entering your desired arrival and departure dates, as well as the number of guests you wish to stay with on our vacation park, you can immediately see which chalets are available in your desired vacation period. Can't find a suitable chalet ? Feel free to contact us and we will help you find a suitable accommodation.
How and when do I have to pay?
We kindly ask you to transfer 50% of the total amount due within 14 calendar days after signing (or digital agreement) the account number mentioned on the invoice you receive from us.
The remaining amount must be paid no later than one month before the start of the rental period.
Is there a down payment or deposit?
When you want to rent a chalet with us, we ask you to pay a deposit of € 100,-. This amount will be refunded to your account within two weeks after your departure, provided that you have left the chalet in a clean and undamaged condition.
Can I cancel my booking?
Cancellation is free of charge until you have paid in advance. Once you have paid in advance, cancellation is only possible if there are compelling personal circumstances. The amount of any refund depends entirely on the situation. Administration and cancellation fees are due in all cases.
Are there any additional costs?
The recreational park charges camping fees for the use of all park facilities, the entertainment programme and other amenities.
These charges must be paid on arrival at the reception and are not included in the rental price.
This cost for season 2025 is:
Children under 3 years stay free.
Children over 3 years and adults:
March, April, September and October: €4.00 per person per night.
May and June: € 4.50 per person per night.
July and August: € 5.00 per person per night.
Do I have to clean the accommodation myself when I leave?
We kindly request that upon departure:
- leave the chalet tidy and broom clean.
- Wash kitchen utensils and put them in the clean cupboard.
- Clean the barbecue and grill.
- Take garbage to the container behind reception.
Can I take my pet on holiday?
In some chalets, pets are not allowed. At each chalet or Mobile home it is indicated if your pet is allowed. You may bring a maximum of 2 pets to our chalet park. For a pet you pay a contribution of € 4.00 per pet, per day.
What else should I consider when renting a chalet from you?
Our most popular chalets are often booked up quickly. If you want to be sure to vacation in your favorite chalet, book your vacation as soon as possible.
Bed linen, towels etc.
You must bring bed linen, bath towels, hand towels and kitchen towels with you.
Parking at the park.
Starting in 2023, the barrier pass will be discontinued for all fields. Instead, a license plate recognition system has been installed at the barriers.
A maximum of three license plates can be passed on per booking, however, only 1 car per chalet may enter the park at a time. Other cars can be parked outside the chalet park. This is at most a 5-minute walk.
Do you have an electric or plug-in hybrid car?
You are not allowed to charge your car at the chalet .
You can charge your car at the nearby hotel.
Who do I rent a chalet from?
Chaletbemiddeling Makkum handles bookings, maintenance and management of private chalets in our park. The chalets are in almost all cases privately owned. So in fact you rent from the owner; Chaletbemiddeling Makkum is your intermediary.
What do I do in case of observed or self-inflicted damage?
In all cases, please report to us immediately. Failure to report damage may result in all or part of the deposit being withheld.
